#NewRoots

The "Refugees" EP represents the energy that Gang Jah Mind claims today on stage. 5 hard-hitting tracks, stimulated by the strength and integrity of their social commitment and their rebellious vivacity. A guarantee of quality and proof of the group's reputation amongst Marseille and Maghreb musicians.

"Wild and Free" is not 'yet another riddim release' as they are being released left and right these days, but a full-blown release of original material, and as such a true representative of what is being dubbed as #NewRoots.

JahRiffe's new album "Reflection" takes you back to a time where Reggae music was expressed with love and sincerity, harmony and respect for one another. A guide to soulful harmony and introspection, transcending our times.

Love is like a candle, so is life. A candle's purpose is to shine and give light in order to reveal its true glory. Eventually, a candle will run out of fire and die out. A candle cannot be saved by not lighting it. It has to fulfill its purpose. It is the true essence of life and love. To ignite your candle - if you haven't already done so - with purpose and live in the light. Jah Bless!

Ras Mac Bean joined forces with roots reggae band Soulcraft from Belgrade, Serbia, which resulted in a groovy and audacious new album “Reggae On A Mission”, released through independent record label Ammonite Records on 21st of May 2018. The album is available on CD and digital, while the vinyl release will come soon, as well.

"The album is a masterfully crafted piece of work. The balance of stunning new tracks and wise selection of a brimming catalog score on all levels" - Robert Heilman, ReggaeVibes - and we subscribe to that notion! Revivals and reunions are often excuses for desperate musicians to relive past glories. NOT SO with Zap Pow's "Again”.
