The Salmon is the project of a legendary trio of "soul men" brought together to celebrate a long friendship, musical freedom, and creativity. Inspired by the original sounds of reggae, ska, country, blues, and soul, they swim upstream like salmon, against clichés and norms. Their journey delights us and transports us to distant, soothing landscapes that reconnect us with the essentials: the love of music.

The Senior Allstars prove with this release that basically all music can be 'dub-ified', and when coupled to a brilliant vocalist like Ammoye the results add to the legacy of the original versions.
